Everyone knows we are less likely to ‘impulse buy’ when we make a list before shopping and stick to it. But I think we can do better than that. Once weekly, write down exactly what you are going to eat each day of the week to fit in with your schedule – and what you need to buy. I know this sounds pathetically simple but how many of us actually do this, myself included? If YOU do: full marks and hats off! I suspect you are in the minority. Often the simplest things can be the most effective.
