Free-from wheat, gluten, egg, corn, soya & nuts – home-made mince pies, can be dairy-free
At this time of year, what would life be without mince pies? Not the shop-bought kind, overloaded with sugar, hydrogenated fat and way too much mince, but home-made pies with crumbly pastry and a taste of Christmas. This recipe uses gluten-free flour and is suitable for those with food intolerances, but normal wheat flour could also be used. They are quick and easy to prepare – unless you are making your own fruit mince!
