Resveratrol is a polyphenol found in grapes, berries, peanuts and medicinal plants. Lab and animal studies suggest resveratrol has anti-aging, anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. There are still only limited human clinical trials to back this up and a lack of data on dosage and bioavailability. However, resveratrol may have considerable potential to improve health and prevent chronic disease in humans.
